Beginners Yoga Course

There are two evenings and one daytime class to choose from.

Five Weeks for £60

Tuesdays, 9.30 - 10.30am

Venue: Kings Head Woodbridge, 17 Market Hill, Woodbridge. Classes take place in the function room, which is on the first floor.

Tuesdays, 8 - 9pm

7th Jan until 4th Feb 2025

Venue: Robertsons Boat Yard, Woodbridge

Thursdays, 6.30 - 7.30pm

9th Jan until 6th Feb 2025

Venue: Robertsons Boat Yard, Woodbridge

New to yoga? Or perhaps you haven’t done it for a while and would like a refresher? This five-week course will introduce some of the common yoga movements and breathing techniques within a relaxed and supportive environment.

This course is designed for a broad range of fitness levels, and different options are given so that students can work in various ways to meet their own mobility needs and challenges.  However, in order to be able to participate in this course, you will need to be able to comfortably get up and down from a seated or lying position on the floor, sit on the floor, bend your legs and spend some time in a hands and knees position. If you would like further information regarding whether the beginners course is suitable for you, please feel free to email: woodbridgeyoga@gmail.com. Alternatively, speak to a health professional about whether they think yoga is appropriate for you at this current time.

Please bring:

  • A yoga mat

  • Water bottle

  • A thin blanket which can be folded to use under the head or knees

  • And arrive in comfortable workout clothing for class

Stretch and Flow Yoga Course

Suitable for people with some prior experience or those who have completed one or more of the beginners yoga courses. This five-week course will expand further on a variety of yoga poses and breathing techniques within a relaxed and supportive environment.

Please bring:

  • A yoga mat

  • Water bottle

  • And arrive in comfortable workout clothing for class

 
 

 

Yoga in the Park

During Spring and Summer

Welcome in the day with morning yoga outdoors! These classes are open to beginners through to experienced yoga students and will focus on releasing tensions, soothing stretching and also strengthening the body. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while you connect to the mindful aspects of the class.

If it is forecast to rain, then you will be able to transfer your class or receive a refund. 

Please bring:

• A yoga mat
• Water bottle 
• And arrive in comfortable workout clothing with warm layers as needed
